The Doodle 4 Google contest is now closed. This year's theme is "When I grow up, I hope...". Click here for the link with the 2018-2019 Hillside Doodle 4 Google submissions.
Doodle 4 Google is an annual program that invites K-12 students in the United States to use their inventive and artistic talents to think big and redesign the Google homepage logo (for a day) for millions to see plus win a $30,000 college scholarship, and win a $50,000 technology grant for his or her school.
Doodle 4 Google 2017 Winner Sarah Harrison (Connecticut)
The question was: “What I see for the future..."
Each year, Google selects a theme and invites kids to create their own “doodle.” This year, the question for children to ponder is “What inspires me?”. The completed application form (drawn, colored, and filled out and signed by the parents) will be due on Friday, February 23, 2018 so that I can mail all the submissions in by the due date of March 2, 2018.
I am so excited to take part in this endeavor and I am looking forward to seeing what the children come up with!!
