Daily Requirements and Routines
All students must bring their library books and a writing utensil to library each day.
Each class will first participate in a daily lesson and then will be required to complete one piece of classwork which will be collected at the end of the library period. All classwork must have the student's name on it in order to receive credit.
After completing classwork, students will each check out one library book if they have returned their book from the prior week. A student can also renew a book as many times as he or she wants; however, the student must always physically bring the book into the library.
All students must bring their weekly graded assignments home for review every day they have library. Please retain your students' graded work for your records.
Each month, two students per class who show excellent behavior, complete their work, and always bring their books back on time will be chosen as the "readers of the month." These students may take out two books each day of the month instead of one.
