Overdue Procedures

 

  • Procedure of Contacting
    • The first time a student's book is overdue, nothing will happen (1 week overdue).
    • The second time the book is overdue, an email will be sent home. (2 weeks overdue).
    • The third time the book is overdue, you will receive a phone call home (3 weeks overdue).
    • The fourth time the book is overdue, you will receive a second email asking for either the book or payment for the book (4+ weeks overdue).
    • After receiving the second email, you will not receive anymore overdue notices except for during the dates specified below and at the end of the school year. 
  • Students may not check out a new book until their old book is returned.
  • If an overdue book is not returned by the last day of school, the student will not receive his/her report card.
  • The second written notices (4+ weeks overdue) will be sent again as a reminder during the following weeks:
      • Monday, October 28 to Friday, November 1
      • Monday, December 16 to Friday, December 20
      • Monday, April 7 to Friday, April 11
