Baby Wildcat Folders
BABY WILDCAT folders will be sent home every Wednesday with the previous week’s test papers and any important notes. Please review the papers, sign theconduct sheet, and return on Thursday.
Testing & Grades
Testing days will vary depending on when we finish a Math Topic. Those students who do not maintain a “C” or higher in any subject will receive a Failure Notice in his/her "TAKE HOME" folders during the 9 weeks. Students must have a “70/C” or higher in math and reading in order to pass the 2nd grade.
Weekly Study Guide
We want to make sure you are informed of upcoming events and what your child is learning at school. A "Week at a Glance" will come home and be posted each Monday via Class Dojo. It will contain what we are doing in each math lesson and any upcoming events or important information.
Snacks/Concessions
Students are allowed to bring a daily snack to enjoy during our designated snack time.
Some snack options include: chips, honeybuns, crackers, granola bar, water or a small drink
Please send a small, individual snack (for your child only )that your child can easily manage independently. Thank you for helping us keep snack time simple and enjoyable! Concession is sold on Fridays!
Birthday Parties
In 2nd grade, we love to celebrate birthdays! Please contact your child’s homeroom teacher for an appropriate date and time. Due to the importance of instructional time, only cupcakes are allowed.
