Health Office Guidelines
Our goal is the health and safety of all our students, staff and families.
-
PLEASE KEEP ANY ILL STUDENT HOME. DO NOT SEND STUDENTS WITH ANY SYMPTOMS OF ANY CONTAGIOUS ILLNESS TO SCHOOL.
-
If a student becomes ill or symptomatic during the school day, please be available to take them home within 30 minutes.
-
If your student is exposed to COVID-19 and has no symptoms, it is recommended that they wear a mask for 10 days.
-
Please report any positive COVID-19 tests to the health office. The NJ Dept. of Health requires a 5 day(day 0 is the day symptoms start) isolation period for positive cases. A student may return to school after that if they have been fever free, without medication, for 24 hours and the symptoms have improved. It is recommended to wear a mask for 5 more days.
