Before entering the field of education, I worked in the Private Banking Sector for a New York bank. In the 1990s, I decided to make a career change after spending time volunteering with youth and discovering how rewarding it was to work with children. I have been teaching since 1994, beginning my career as a middle school teacher in Newark, NJ.
Over the years, I have taught in both private schools and in the Jefferson Township School District, where I worked as a third- and fourth-grade teacher. In 2004, I joined Timberlane, where I have been teaching math ever since. My role focuses on supporting students with specific learning needs, primarily in collaborative and replacement settings.
