Ms. Machado's Third Grade!
I am honored to be your Third Grade Teacher! Third grade is absolutely awesome!! There are so many fun things to learn. We will become better readers and writers, explore our country as a social scientist, design models like engineers, multiply, and write in cursive. We’ll also have special visits from Nico, our school-based therapy dog! Get ready for an exciting, special and fun year!
I am sure you are anxious to get supplies for the new year. You will need the following items for the first day:

1 Marble Composition Notebook - hard covered, wide ruled, 100 pages

4 Pocket Folders - 1 of each color: blue, red, green, yellow (plastic kind preferred)

Take-Home Folder - design of your choice

1 pack of crayons 24 count

3 glue sticks

12 pencils

6-Pack Fine Tip Expo Markers

Pencil Case - not too bulky so that it can fit in the desk.

Headphones - corded for the computer (no bluetooth)
- Two (2) books of your choice to read on the first day of school
- Pack a healthy snack and a water bottle every day
