“Good habits are the key to good health. Healthy students perform better academically, have better attendance in school, and behave better in class.” - American Heart Association.
Phys. ed. classes are scheduled twice a week. Sneakers are required to participate.
All students will learn four primary components of physical fitness:
Muscular strength
Muscular endurance
Cardiorespiratory endurance
Flexibility
With this foundation students will develop healthy habits that could last a lifetime. Help reinforce those habits with ten minutes of daily activity at home. Check the "Homework & Events" link for fitness challenges for the entire family.
