  Welcome to the Food and Nutrition page.

This course is designed to introduce students to the principles of food and nutrition, careers, and foods of the world.  This course focuses on the latest information on diet and physical activity.  It offers guidelines for using appliances, setting up a food budget, as well as purchasing and storing foods.  It provides tips on managing resources, organizing the work space and effective team work.  Students will practice basic cooking methods of a variety of foods.
