Homework Policy

Students will receive homework every day. They must write their homework onto their student planner in which a parent must sign everynight. This will ensure you that that your child has homework and it also shows me that you are well aware of your child's homework. They must study everyday, show all work, and apply their very best in all their work. Once they come to class they have to show their complete homework. Students will begin with a grade of 100 for homework, however each day the homework is late or missing that is 5points taken off their grade.(It is very important to know that if your child has forgotten his/her planner that the homework will always be posted up on this website under: Homework & Events.) IF your child is ever absent please be aware that any classwork they missed or homework they missed MUST still be completed by the next school day. Each student is responsible for making up missed work UNLESS it is an excused absence in which they will have a few extra days to complete the missing work/homework. ALL work that has been covered in class each day can always be viewed in my homework section and as well as accessing the material they need through the language arts or math links which will provide more information in how to access the links.

*** Parents please take note that you must check your child's planner, homework, and folders everyday. It is also important that they review their work everynight. They must also come prepared to school everyday.***
