Dear Parents/Guardians,

Developing a love of literacy is extremely important for young children. You can play a big part in fostering this love by reading to your children daily. Encourage them by setting up a family story time, for example. A review of vocabulary and checking for story comprehension is recommended.

You can borrow books from our West New York Public Library at 60th St.

Furthermore, you may use these books with your child and "Draw your Favorite Part of the Story”.

If you need more strategies to work with you child, please feel free to ask to me. Happy reading!
