Five Finger Rule

 

 

    

1.  Choose a book that you think you will enjoy.

2.  Read any page that has a full page of words.

3.  Hold up a finger for each word you are not sure of, or do not know.

4.  If you don't raise any fingers or just one finger, the book is too easy.

5.  If there are five or more words you did not know, you should choose an easier book.

6.  If you only raised two, three or four fingers, the book is just right for you.
