Dear students,

 

         Hello and welcome to second grade! I am so excited to be your second grade teacher! We are going to have a busy year full of fun and new learning experiences!

 

        I hope you are having a fabulous summer vacation! I have been in our classroom working hard to make it special for you. When you start second grade, you may have some old friends from last year, but there may be some children you do not know. We will begin the year by learning all about each other and how to be a good friend in our classroom learning community. I am looking forward to learning more about you!
