Our budget was cut a lot this year, but I will supply a take-home sturdy folder, classwork folder, a block eraser, individual scissors, folders, journals, all paper, expo board, expo eraser, spelling notebook, writing notebook, science journal, writing folder, bin, book sack and more. If we get low during the year I will let you know and ask for additional donations. Many thanks in advance!
Backpacks – Please make sure the backpack is large enough to hold their chromebook (if needed), folder, lunch, snack and library book. Kindly label with your child’s first and last name as well.
Snack – We will be eating snack daily in our classroom. Please send in one small, healthy food and one drink. A reusable, non-spillable water bottle, that doesn't leak is perfered. I love my stainless steel Contigo cup! Also please check the labels carefully to verify that all snacks are nut-free.
Lunch – Students will have the opportunity to bring lunch from home this year, or purchase a hot school lunch. They will need to tell me in the morning if they are buying lunch. You should get information about how to set up an account if you don't have one already.
Clothing – Comfy clothing is best, along with rubber soled sneakers/shoes. Sneakers must be worn on Gym days. Please be sure to label all clothing with your child’s name. Refrain from any open-toed or open-back footwear as well.
Recess – Unless the temperatures are very low or it is precipitating, we will be going outside daily. Please send your child to school with the appropriate clothing (including hats, gloves, etc) when necessary. Sneakers are also recommended for the playground.
Toys – Kindly refrain from sending in any personal toys from home. We will have special days throughout the year that the children will be asked to bring in something special from home.
Dismissal - If it is necessary to pick your child up at dismissal, please enter it into pick-up patrol prior to the end of the day. Without notification from the office indicating a parent pick-up, your child will be put on the bus.
