Language Arts

 

   Language Arts will be so much fun this year.  We will read many wonderful books both in school and at home each day.  At home, you can read to yourself, a parent, a sibling, and/or an adult can also read to you.  You will also be reading and listening to books online with Raz Kids.  You will have your login, which I will give to you at the beginning of the school year. 

    Our class will also enjoy writing this year.  We will be using Empowering Writers like you did last year!  We will work on writing skills to write argumentative and expository essays and narrative stories.  You will become even better writers.  

 

Below are some suggestions for good fourth-grade books.  Please take a look with an adult and see what type of book you would like to read.  You can also check other grades and reading levels.
