 Welcome to the 2025-2026

School Year!

Dear New Fourth Graders,

I hope you are having an incredible summer! My family and I are enjoying our summer.  I have two sons. My older son is a junior in college, and my younger son is a freshman in college. We are having a lot of fun this summer, spending time at the beach, swimming, going on bike rides, and catching up with friends and family. We also spend some quiet time reading, playing board and card games, and relaxing. We have definitely consumed our share of ice cream. I can't wait to meet you in person and hear about all the wonderful things you did this summer!

In fourth grade, you will have the opportunity to switch classes. You will be with Mrs. Ozga and me for Language Arts and Social Studies. You will have Ms. Yakimec and Mrs. Ozga for Math and Science. You will love switching classrooms and having different teachers in fourth grade.

We have been busy getting ready for the school year.  If you look at the tabs on the right, you will see the Supply List, which lets you know what you will need for the school year.  Dr. Marangon also sent out this list. Please note that we are a peanut-free classroom.  Snacks cannot contain peanuts or tree nuts and cannot be produced in a facility that manufactures them.

You will be reading independently each day.  Take a look at the books you have at home, and maybe run to the library if you need some more good books to read.

Next week, take a few minutes and log into your Google Account, go to Classrooms, and click "Join" on your classroom invitations!

Let me know if you have any questions. Enjoy the rest of your summer.
