Dear New Fourth Graders,
I hope you are having an incredible summer! My family and I are enjoying our summer. I have two sons. My older son is a sophomore in college and my younger son is a senior at West Morris Central. We are having a lot of fun this summer spending time at the beach, swimming, playing tennis and pickle ball, going on bike rides, seeing friends, and playing golf and mini-golf. We also spend some quiet time reading, playing board and card games, watching movies, and relaxing. We have definitely consumed our share of ice cream!!! I can't wait to meet you in person and hear about all the wonderful things you did this summer!
In fourth grade, you will finally get to switch classes. You will be with Mrs. Katz and me for language arts and social studies. You will have Ms. Yakimec and Mrs. Katz for math and science. You will love switching classrooms and having different teachers in fourth grade.
We have been busy getting ready for the school year. If you look at the tabs on the right, you will see the Supply List which lets you know what you will need for the school year. Please note, that we are a peanut-free classroom. Snacks cannot contain peanuts or tree nuts and cannot be produced in a facility that manufactures them.
You will be reading independently each day. Take a look at the books you have at home and maybe run to the library if you need some more good books to read.
Before school starts, take a few minutes and log into your Google Account, go to Classrooms, and click "Join" on your classroom invitations!
