Mrs. Barone: 

 

I graduated from York College of Pennsylvania.  At YCP, I majored in Elementary Education and minored in Special Education.  I have my Masters in Educational Theory and Practice and a Ed. S. in Reading from Arkansas State University. I have Orton Gillingham training which enables me to provide strategies for teaching phonics and reading through a multisensory approach.  I did my student teaching in the first grade.  This is my 17th year teaching in East Rutherford but my 16th year teaching Kindergarten. I have also taught fifth grade and pre-kindergarten as a replacement teacher in East Rutherford.  I have a husband who teaches at Faust School, two sons, and a dog.
