Classroom Expectations
I expect all my students to succeed here in my class and in the life or career they choose for themselves
Life is about choices, and we all make choices every day.
I decided to become a teacher; although challenging, I love it. I come to school daily to teach you and be part of your bright future.
Remember that as a student at IHS, you are expected to BE REAL (Respectful, Empathetic, Accountable, and Life-Long Learner)
- Your role in school is to learn. To do an effective job as a student, you will need to focus on academics, come to class prepared in class in terms of required materials, attentiveness, and completion of all assignments (Classwork, Homework, and Projects)
- Be in your seat and working by the time the bell rings.
- Be Prepared: Bring all supplies (pens, notebooks, Chromebooks, etc.). If there is a problem with a task or deadline tell me BEFORE it is due.
- All assignments should be turned in on time.
- Give your best effort.
- Follow directions the FIRST time they are given.
- Model appropriate behavior. Use good judgment as others are always watching you.
- Be respectful so that others can respect you.
- Let me know when you need help.
