Homework
Each school day, Monday through Friday, the children may have homework in reading, writing, math, science, or social studies. This homework may be studying or written work. The Board of Education policy is that HW should not take more that 10 minutes per grade level, so fifth grade should not be more than 50 minutes a night. Some nights there may not be any homework at all, but it depends on what we are learning and if the children need additional practice with any skills.
If a child is out of the room for band, they have to make up the work they missed.
