  When I was a little girl, my favorite year in elementary school was the year I was in fifth grade.  I had a great teacher named  Mr. Dooros and he made every day fun and exciting. I still remember the friends I made that year, the field day we had (I won the hula hoop contest), and the feeling I had walking home from school with my sister and my best friend each day.  It was a magical year.  I hope one day you will look back at this 5th grade year we will share together and have nothing but great memories, just like I do of mine!  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A Few Things About Miss Phillips

 

 I like to make life easier, not harder. I keep things simple.

 

I think that parents know their child the best, and I always look forward to a great partnership with the families of my students. 

 

I love being a teacher, and am starting my 25th year teaching at Emma Havens Young School this Fall.  

 

I love being a mom, and I have 4 amazing kids-2 girls and 2 boys (all teenagers) and they make me crazy all the time!

 

I love going to the gym, swimming and tanning at the beach, and taking road trips. 

 

I have a great dog named Indiana and he is a Belgian Malinois.

  

My favorite drink is an iced coffee, cream only, from Dunkin Donuts.
