This course is designed to foster students’ passion for writing creatively.  Through a writer’s workshop approach, students engage in the full writing process from prewriting to publication.  Students create short stories, poetry, screenplays/plays, personal narratives, and keep daily journals.  This writing, critiqued through self, peer, and teacher evaluations, culminates with the creation of portfolios and submissions for publication.
