Meet the Teacher

 

Hello! My name is Ms. Devecchio and I am delighted to be your first grade teacher. This is my 13th year teaching at South Harrison Elementary School. I spent 7 years teaching kindergarten and I am excited to teach first grade for a 6th year! I live in Pitman, but I grew up in South Harrison. I learned in the same classrooms you are learning in. I am proud to be a part of such a wonderful community of teachers and learners.

 

I graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2011 with a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and a Bachelor's Degree in English. I love to read and write and I am excited to share my love of learning with you. 

 

I am a mommy to two smart, sweet, boys named Maverick and Axel. Maverick is 11 years old and Axel is 8! They are choice students at South Harrison! Our family enjoys sports, camping, fishing, and traveling to new places. I love puzzles, dance, and scrapbooking.
