Welcome to 2nd Grade!

 

 

The 2nd grade teachers are looking forward to September and meeting all of you. We are planning a school year filled with exciting learning experiences. While you are having fun, you can get ready for 2nd grade by reading, reading, and reading! Recommended summer reading lists can be found at:

Here is a list of items needed for 2nd grade:

 

___ One pencil box (labeled) 

___ One pair of headphones or earbuds

___ Twenty-four #2 yellow pencils (all wood- no plastic wrappers)

___ Two boxes of 24 count crayons

___ One pair of scissors (rounded tip) 

___ Three large glue sticks

___ 12 thin black EXPO dry erase low-odor markers

___ One dry-erase eraser

___ Two 2-pocket folders

___ One marble composition book

___ Two highlighters

___ Two pink erasers 

___ Two boxes of tissues 

___ Three packs of 3x3 inch Post-It Notes 

___ One 8-pack Crayola markers
