Mrs. Linda Caltabiano

Hello! My name is Mrs. Caltabiano. This year I am delighted to be back to teaching in the general education classroom. This is my 19th school year at South Harrison Elementary School. I grew up right down the road in Mullica Hill and am now a South Harrison resident. Nineteen years ago, I married my husband, Michael, and we have 2 fun-loving, beautiful daughters ages 13 and 16. Our family enjoys giggling, gymnastics, dancing, reading, playing at parks, swimming, and going to the beach. In my free time, I love reading, gardening, and solving puzzles.

In elementary school, I was inspired by my 3rd grade teacher to become a teacher myself. In my senior year in high school and the year following, I taught CCD to Kindergarten and babysat. During college, I worked in a preschool in Washington Township. I graduated from Rowan University with a degree in Elementary Education and a secondary degree in Sociology. After graduation, I began substitute teaching, and within a year became a long-term substitute middle school teacher. The following year I joined the South Harrison family. I am proud to be part of the South Harrison Family, for the love of the children and staff shines brightly when you enter our school home.

Along the way, I have learned some important things about children. They are unpredictable, loving, kind, and pleasing, if the opportunity allows them to be. They will surprise you with their intelligence and brighten your day when you’re blue. I love teaching and spending my days doing what I love.
