Grading Policies

 

All grades can be checked by logging into the Parent Portal. Please call the Main Office if you need assistance logging into your account.

 

Reading:

70% weekly reading tests

30% phonics quizzes

 

Writing:

70% writing assignments

15% weekly word study tests

15% grammar assignments

 

Math:

70% chapter tests

30% timed addition and subtraction quizzes

 

SS/Health/Science:

tests, homework assignments, discussion/participation

 

All tests and quizzes will be graded. Students will receive grades for participation and discussion, classwork, and home projects.

 

 

Grading Scale:

A+ =  100-97
A   =  96-93
A-  =  92-90
B+ =  89-87
B   =  86-83
B-  =  82-80
C+ =  79-77
C   =  76-73
C-  =  73-70
D   =  69-65
F   =  64-below
