I grew up in Bensalem, Pennsylvania.  It was there that I began my music career, learning to play the trumpet in the third grade.  As I progressed through school, I auditioned and qualified for County and District (Regional) band.  I also performed as a soloist with the marching band which set forth my desire to continue my career of music.

I attended Trenton State College (now the College of New Jersey) where I earned my Bachelor of Music Degree in 1993.  One of the Highlights of my college tenure was getting the opportunity to perform under renowned composer Alfred Reed during our Northeastern Tour.  I have since supplimented my degree by doing graduate work with The University of the Arts.

I am in my 31st year as the director of bands and music here at Palmyra High School.  During that time my duties have included teaching and conducting all concert bands - elementary, junior high and senior high; teaching music lessons to all grades and teaching choir class.  I also currently have a beginning piano and beginning guitar class.

Some of my past honors are conductor of the All-South Jersey Elementary honors band and I am a 2 time recipient of Educator of the Year here at Palmyra High School.  I am also the Treasurer of the Western Burlington County Music Alliance.  I am the Auditions Chair for the All-South Jersey High School Regional Band.  Outside of school I am an Assisstant Scoutmaster of Scouts BSA Troop 15 in Mount Laurel, and am a certified archery instructor with USA Archery.
