Dear Gifted MATH Students and Parents,
Welcome to academic year 2023-2024. I am so happy to welcome new students to the Gifted program. It proves to show that Monroe City schools have a good number of students that are in the mastery and advanced achievement level both in Math and ELA.
For this new academic year, we are implementing Eureka Math (EM2) curriculum. As supplemental, Zearn and Reflex will be used for intervention and accelerate. We will be using a lot of technology to better prepare you for the LEAP test. Students will still have their workbooks for classwork and homework. Assessments are mostly done on-line through Greatminds.digital.
