I can be reached by email at [email protected] or by calling CHS. I am available for extra help after school on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Please stop in if you have any questions, need some extra help, have been absent, etc. This year I am teaching English I Honors, English III, and English III Honors. All classes are taught in room M214. I am senior class advisor, along with Mr. Jones, and we look forward to making the 2014-2015 school year one to remember. Go Panthers!
I need all students to sign up for a Schoology account, a Remind 101 account, and NewsEla account (all are free). All of these sites can be utilized by any mobile device and will greatly help with every student's academic performance. Schoology is an educational social media site that we will use to communicate and for sample PARCC assignments. Remind 101 is a great app that will allow me to text students reminders about homework assignments without any of us exchanging cell phone numbers. NewsEla is an informational text based website that offers current news article aligned with the CCSS, lexile reading levels, and will have weekly assignments and quizzes for each class.
