About Ms. Thompson
My name is Ms. Thompson and I teach 7th Grade English Language Arts. I have been a teacher at the Middle School of Pleasantville since 2011. I graduated from Egg Harbor Township High School and continued my education at Atlantic Cape Community College. After receiving an Associate's Degree, I continued my pursuit for a career in education by attending Rowan University. It was there that I obtained a Bachelor's Degree in English. I then went on to The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey to complete my teaching certificate.
I love teaching English Language Arts and look forward to empowering students through discussions about literature and informational texts. Reading and writing are not the only skills students learn in English Language Arts. It is here that students learn to become effective communicators, listeners, and leaders. It is here that they learn to dream big and go places that they never thought were possible. There is so much to be discovered here, and I am honored to take them on this journey.
