Many times throughout the year, students and parents ask what type of books are appropriate to read for 5th grade. Well, Scholastic makes it easy by providing basic information that appeals to age/grade, interest and reading level. Using Scholastic Reading Clubs, we are able to accumulate rewards for our classroom. Each month, I will be sending home the Scholastic Reading Club order form. Please do not feel obligated to purchase books. However, if you do want to place an order, you simply do so online, which is convenient and saves time. Remember to use our class code because every order placed online earns rewards for our classroom! Please see the directions below to learn how to order online.

To start ordering online, follow these simple steps:
- REGISTER at Scholastic Book Clubs' secure Web site (www.scholastic.com/bookclubs), and create your own User Name and Password.
- ENTER the one time Class Activation Code above to link you to our classroom. If you have used a different code in the past for a different teacher, please update this code so we may receive the points.
- BROWSE the wide selection of books with your child.
- PAY safely and securely for your selections using your credit card.
- SEND the order to me online by the deadline listed on your order form and I will place the class order directly.
