Study aides including flashcards, practice pages, teaching tools, and home activities can be accessed from home for extra reinforcement in the beginning of each new Topic using the EnVision website. Study guides and practice activities will be assigned and students are encouraged to log in to complete assignments at home. Some practice sets can be interactive or printed for paper-pencil computation and problem solving worksheets. As you can see, some parent/guardian guidance may be required for more complex problem solving and comprehension of word problems.
Students should be highlighting/underlining/circling important clue words when problem solving to be sure they are computing accurately and explaining the process thoroughly.
Additionally, samples of supplemental websites are provided below to make the process a little more interactice & fun! Please encourage students to use the EnVision math e-book for content vocabulary, reinforcement of skills taught, problem-solving strategies or for workbook pages. Students will be using this website frequently at school. Ask your child how to access the website using their personal username/password!
