Classroom Rules
- Be respectful! Treat others the way that you like to be treated.
- Be on time! You must be in this room when the bell rings! (I keep track of lates and once you are late 5 times, you will be referred to your vice principal for discipline)
- Be prepared! Bring the proper materials to class every day: pen, pencil, textbooks, notebook, folder and homework every day. You will not be permitted to go to your locker to retrieve forgotten items, including homework! (This is part of your class participation grade)
- Be responsible! Ask questions if you do not understand…otherwise follow directions when given. This includes beginning the warm-up/do-now activity on the board when you enter the room.
- Be attentive! Turn off all technology and put everything, but your class work, away.
Personal Technology Policy: You may not use your cell phone during class for any reason. Cell phone use of any sort will not be tolerated-this includes smart watches. Headphones/ear buds are also not permitted in this class. Breaking this rule will result in a referral. When you enter this classroom, your cellphone and headphones should already be silenced! There is a pencil bag attached to your desk for your technology. Place it in the bag at the start of each class. I will remind you to take your phone with you at the end of class. Consider this your warning.
