My name is Mrs. Blaze and this is my 23rd year of teaching. I graduated from Rutgers University with my BS in Linguistics, a minor in Psychology, and my Masters in Education. I have three certifications: Elementary Education, Special Education, and Supervisory.
My husband and I have two children: Mackenzie, 13, attending 8th grade at BRMS and CJ, 9, attending 4th grade at Van Holten Primary School. We also have a pitbull named Peaches. We adopted her about 3 years ago.
My family and I love to do things together. We love to go skiing and snowboarding in the winter and boating in the summer. During the fall, we are busy with everyone's activities which are football and cheerleading. In the spring, we are busy with both of the kids' lacrosse schedules.
I love to see my students, both former and current, out and about in town. Whether it's a sporting event or time in Costco or ShopRite, please come up to say HI to me if I don't spot you first! On Wednesday nights, you may see me working at Alfonso's in Somerville!
I love my job, and I feel so lucky to teach at Hamilton Primary School. I enjoy working with all of my colleagues, and our principal and support staff are truly amazing.
