Who is Mr. Bannon?
I am Mark Bannon and have worked in the field of Behavior Analysis since 1997. I can honestly say, I do not believe there is an “inappropriate” behavior I have not seen, experienced or treated. My work began at the Bancroft Rehabilitation Neurobehavioral Stabilization Center studying and implementing Functional Analysis, the clinical assessment process to determine behavioral function.
I began working for Cerebral Palsy Association (now NJID) as the behavior specialist providing supports throughout their employment and residential programs for children, adolescents and adults. 24 years, I continue to provide consulting services to a variety of program throughout NJ.
My full time commitment to NJID closed when I began working at Rutgers University for the Douglass Developmental Disabilities Center. I supervised the Adolescent and Transitional services, researched fundamental principles of behavior analysis, was the second class, the Department Directors being the first, to complete coursework for the board certification for behavioral analysis.
I was then recruited to come to Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District as a teacher of Applied Behavior Analysis in the Autism programs. I began at Hillside for a year then transitioned the class to the High School ultimately returning back to Hillside and have not looked back since.
