Modifications of Lessons for Special Education Students.

       Lessons are modified to meet the needs of the Special Education students.Skills taught in whole groups are reinforced in small groups.Students are helped on an individual basis as seen necessary.The number of items to be completed are reduced .These students are encouraged to use manipulatives to assist them in completing tasks.Extra time is given to do assessments.

They are taught to meet the goals of their IEP.Assessments are done in a seperate room,where there is less distractions.
