Get to Know Me
My name is Candace DeLuccia. I was married to a wonderful man who passed away. We have two beautiful children, a 24 year old girl who is a nurse at Shore Memorial Hospital and an 21 year old boy who is working in HVAC.
I have been teaching at North Main Street School for 24 years. I taught 5th, 4th grade, 3rd grade, and 2nd grade. I am lucky to be teaching 5th grade this year. I am happy to say Mr. B will be with us too. I believe every student can learn. My classroom is a structured environment where all students can learn.
Some of my favorite things:
Seasons: fall & spring (They are not too hot or too cold. I'm a jeans and t-shirt/sweat shirt kind of girl)
Holiday: Christmas (I love decorating and baking cookies.)
Food: Italian (homemade meatballs and gravy (sauce)-Love it!
Candy: hershey bar (Mmmm!)
Fruit: strawberries (They are sweet and taste good.)
Ice Cream: chocolate or mint chocolate chip
Drink: water & ice tea

I wish I had....more time with my family to just have fun.
I have too many.....baking utensils and I don't bake that often.
I never have enough....expo markers, time to enjoy a good book, or have me time.
I am glad I have....a loving husband, two wonderful kids, great parents and the opportunity to work with your children at North Main Street School.
I am a HUGE Disney fan! I will never be too old to go and enjoy a Disney vacation!
