Football

 

 

During the football unit we learn about:

• Position
• Throwing technique - turn sideways, point, step and sword
• Catching technique - pinkies together, thumbs together, look through the window

 

Offense = team with the ball trying to score points by scoring a touchdown.  

• QB = Quarterback (throws the football)
• RB = Running back (is handed the ball by the QB)
• WR = Reciever (catches the ball thrown from the QB)

 

Defense = team without the ball trying to stop the other team

 

Games we play during the football unit include

 

• End zone football
• Capture the football
• 2 minute drill
• Foot-sketball
