Dear Parent(s)/ Guardian(s),
As the new year approaches, I would like to take this time to introduce myself as your child's fifth-grade Language Arts teacher. I anticipate this year to be exciting as we explore various new activities while providing support and encouragement for one another. Fifth grade will be a time for your child to continue their growth both academically and socially. It will be an opportunity to achieve goals, participate in cooperative learning, and acquire real-life skills. My goal is to help your child become an active learner. This will be another great year for me to teach for the Bridgewater-Raritan School District at Eisenhower Intermediate School. PLEASE BE SURE TO REVIEW YOUR STUDENT'S MODE OF TRANSPORTATION HOME DAILY. IF THERE IS A CHANGE TO THEIR DISMISSAL, PARENTS/GUARDIANS NEED TO USE THE ABSENCE POWERSCHOOL LINK TO REPORT THIS CHANGE. EMAILING THE TEACHER WOULD NOT BE THE BEST WAY TO LET THE SCHOOL KNOW OF THIS CHANGE!
PLEASE BE SURE YOUR STUDENT CHARGES THEIR CHROMEBOOKS NIGHTLY!!!!!
NO CELL PHONES OR SMARTWATCHES SHOULD BE IN THE CLASSROOM OR WORN DURING THE DAY! PLEASE SEE DR. BASSETT'S EMAIL FOR CLARIFICATION.
