REMINDERS 

 

 

 Wednesday, 11/12 - Scholastic Book Fair. Preschool can attend the book fair from 8:15-8:45. (YOU DO NOT COME TO CLASS FIRST) If you can not make it to the book fair, then your child will come to school as usual. Mrs.Sprake and I will be in the classroom.

 

Friday, 11/14 - Thanksgiving Feast Day

 

Wednesday, 11/26 -11/28 - School Closed for Thanksgiving

 

Friday,12/5 - Early Dismissal @ 12:20. We will be having snack that day

 

Saturday, 12/6 - Christmas Bazaar from 9-3

 

Friday, 12/19 - Polar Express Day

 

Monday, 12/22 - Dress Up Day & Early dismissal @ 12:20

 

Tuesday, 12/23 - Sunday , 1/4 - Christmas Break

 

Monday, 1/5 - Classes resume

 

 

* As the weather is getting colder, please send in warmer clothes and I will swap them out with ones I have*

 

***PLEASE NOTE***

If your child stays for extended care he/she must have a separate DISPOSABLE snack and water bottle in a brown paper bag labeled with their name on it.  If your child does not stay regularly please send a note in the morning letting me know they will be staying that day.

 

 

This week we will be learning about the letter "Tt".  The boys and girls will recognize its sound and how to write it by using our pull-down line and slide line. Please check your child's folder, they will be coming home with parent letters that coincide with the letter "Tt". Please keep at home for reference and practice.

 

 We will continue to focus on recognizing and writing their names. I encourage students to continue to practice at home. I will be sending home their names that are laminated so they can use dry erase markers to practice,  and if you have child safe scissors please practice using them. They can snip scrap paper, straws, playdough, etc. I always tell them thumbs must face the sky.  

 

Communication is very important to your child's success. Please feel free to contact me at the above email at any time if you have any questions or concerns.  I will not be able to get back to you until the end of the school day, which is after 3pm.

 

LUNCH

 

Please send in a lunch that you child is able to finish on their own.  Be sure to send their lunch with two napkins; we use one for a placemat and one is to be used when they finish their lunch.

 

RECESS

 

We will go out for recess everyday unless it is too cold or raining. Please have your child dressed appropriately for the weather and always wear closed toe shoes.  If your children come to school with rain or snow boots, they need to have shoes to change into for the day.
