ASSIGNMENT

HOMEWORK - TEST/QUIZ WORK GUIDELINES

 



 

 

 All assignments must be done in #2 lead pencil or .7mm lead mechanical. 
             
            No ink – EVER (NO Exceptions!)             

 

All assignment work must be done on 8.5”x 11” notebook paper. Use graph
         paper 
as requested for graphs.


        
    No spiral edges, torn, wrinkled or dirty papers will be accepted.       

           No writing in the margins.

         No love messages to boyfriends/girlfriends, etc.

          No scribbling, eraser holes or extremely small writing-If I can’t read it I can't grade it

 

All pages of the assignment must have the complete heading in the top, right
         corner of the top margin.


          
Full name.  
             Date assigned.
             Class period.
             Assignment description.  

Double columns are allowed only if you fold your paper lengthwise and stay in
        the columns made by the fold.


All work must flow down the page; one = to a line.

             
No arrows directing me to find the next step!
             
Be neat and organized.
             No writing or computations in the margin.
             
You may use the back of the paper.


  Skip a minimum of one line between all problems.

          

  Any problems for which only an answer is shown will receive no credit!

  Always set up your problems by 

             
Writing the directions to each practice set.
             
Writing the original problems.
             
Circle the problem numbers.
            
Showing work/justification for each problem.

             Box/highlight/circle the final answer.

             Working the problems in order. Out of order problems can be missed in the grading
                  process – I will not regrade!                  

             Drawing applicable diagrams and labeling them legibly.
             Define variables in word problems. 

 

  All assignments must be turned in immediately when asked for – do not try
        to give it to
me after I have called for them, stapled them together, or put them
        in the folder.
