| About the Teacher I have been teaching elementary school for 35 years. This is my 18th year at Eastside Elementary. I am married to a wonderful husband and I have three sons. Two of my sons graduated from Eastside. My youngest son, Evan, graduated from Southeastern University. My other son, Austin is an Army Ranger. He and his wife, Shaen live up north with their precious son, Cody Bennett, who is 3 years old. My oldest son, Brandon also graduated from Southeastern University and is married to Courtney. Brandon is the YA pastor at Abundant Life Church and the Associate Broker at Smart Move Real Estate. They have 3 precious children, 2 boys and a baby girl. Max is 5 years old and he will be a Kindergarten student at Eastside this year. Lucas is 3 years old. Their sister, Emma Grace, is 5 months old. I absolutely LOVE to spend time with my family, especially all of my grandchildren. We are a very proud Patriot, Lion and U.S.Army family! It is going to be a fantastic new school year, and I look forward to being your child's ELA/Reading teacher!
