Title I - Academic Assistance Program

This program offers extra support to struggling students in math and ELA. Students are identified by the classroom teacher, and the teacher meets with the I&RS team. Data is collected and the student receives extra classroom assistance. If data reveals little student improvement after this first intervention, the I&RS team moves the student to Tier II. In this instance, the student will receive In-class support OR pull-out in the designated subject area and in the skill identified by the classroom teacher.

I am one of the Student Support Service teachers. Karly Gagliardi and Jen Ridgway are also suport teachers.

Parents are also part of the team. Parents receive a Parent Compact and work with the student to ensure success in the subject area.
