ART I/Crafts I


Class Project Evaluation: (20 pts. each)

 

The student work should reflect the following:

 

            1. Good use of elements and principles of design

            2. Good craftsmanship. Is the work neat and well presented.

            3. Productivity. Does the work reflect effort and good use of class time?

            4. Technical skills. Good use and understanding of materials and techniques.

            5. The student’s willingness to be open minded and accepting of the teacher’s    

             critique for improvement

 

ART I

Report card grades will include the averages of the following:

 

  1. Project grade 60%
  2. Sketches or other homework 20%
  3. Active Participation/Citizenship 20%

CRAFTS I

Report card grades will include the averages of the following:

 

  1. Project grade 60%
  2. Sketches or other homework (crafts research project) 15%
  3. Active Participation/Citizenship 25% (Students will receive 20 points for active participation/citizenship for the marking period. These points will carry over from week to week for the course of that particular marking period.)
