This course will provide a foundation in a wide variety of art media and prepare the student for more advanced study. This class will cover the basic methods of drawing from observation using a variety media. Students will gain an understanding of color through different media such as markers, colored pencils, water colors, and paint. In addition, students will gain an appreciation for art history and aesthetics in this course.

 

Required: successfully maintain homework assignments in sketchbook or folder.
