Classroom Rules
*The following rules must be abided by in class at ALL times:
- Come to class every day prepared to learn. That includes, pencil, sketchpad, and positive attitude. Everyday that you are unprepared, it will be record for that day and your averaged will be lowered. Do not keep materials in your folder.
- Upon entering the classroom, get your project, supplies, and start working or points will be deducted from your final average.
- Use your time in class to its full advantage. No one is to be working on materials for other classes.
- You must clean your workstation and return all your art supplies to the right place neatly before you leave the classroom in the condition that you received them or points will be deducted from your final grade.
- You are expected to follow all school rules. Read your M.S. Handbook carefully.
- Be respectful and cooperative to others. Good behavior will be rewarded. You do not have the right to disturb the learning of others. Verbal abuse, loudness, throwing things, unwelcomed touching, destruction of materials (school property or student work) will be considered acts of disruption and the violator will be subject to administrative discipline.
- No student is to line up at the door, touch or answer the phone under any circumstances.
- No one is to sit at or around the teacher’s desk, unless a student/teacher conference is required.
- Only one student is to be seated at a desk and four students to a working area, unless the class is overcrowded and it becomes necessary to seat more students to a work area. You cannot change your assigned seat
- No food or drinks are allowed in class (this also means gum). No electronic of any kind are permitted in class.
