Language Arts:

We are working on finding the theme of dramas and poems.  We also work continuously on using context clues and word parts (prefixes, suffixes, base words) to figure out meanings of words we do not know. 

 Math:

This week we are working on place value relationships (10 times more and 1/10 of numbers).

Science/Social Studies:

In science we are working  on identifying the functions of different human body organs and what system they are part of.

In social studies the kiddos are still working on learning the location of the states and their capitals.
