Welcome to Mrs. Leith's Fifth Grade Class!
We are moving and shaking in fifth grade! We are working hard in all areas! Please encourage your kiddos to stay positive...we are working on some hard math concepts and I don't want to see them get frustrated when they don't understand right away. I always tell them we might not have it YET, but we are getting closer. If you can please reinforce that at home that would be great!
AR folders will come home every Monday. Please make sure you are looking at them (the page will be marked for you) to see if your child is staying on track in AR. This is a good way for you and I to stay in touch about AR and for you to assist your child in meeting his/her weekly and quarter goal.
Homework: Please make sure your child is completing all his/her homework each night (which includes 30 minutes of AR reading). You can find a list of all the assignments on the weekly homework sheet.
