Marine Biology

Course Overview:

This course is designed to introduce students to the various marine environments of the world and the organisms found in them.  Emphasis will be placed on the biological features of the oceans, organism-habitat relationships, and general ecological concepts influencing marine populations and communities.  Topics will include learning the ecological relationship between flora and fauna, realizing influences that affect marine organisms, and identification of popular species of animals.
