Reader's Workshop and Writer's Workshop are designed  to help the students become better readers and writers. We participate in a Reader's Workshop to help us learn various reading strategies. Reader's Workshop will consist of a Morning Message, Reading Block (guided reading groups, read to self, read to a partner, book clubs), Read alouds with some awesome book choices,  and also weekly Literacy Centers which will vary week to week.  We will explore different genres as well as participate in Author Studies. 

We also take part in a Writer's Workshop where we can exercise our ideas for writing.  Writer's Workshop will consist of a mini lesson, independent writing, conferencing, and a share time.
