OCEAN CITY HIGH SCHOOL -
SCHOOL CHOICE INFORMATION
for the 2025-2026 School Year
The OCHS School Choice Application deadline is November 25th.
They will have 50 open seats for next school year. That is for any student to apply for, not just Margate students.
The application requirements are listed below:
~ A score of 725 or higher for the 7th grade NJSLA Summative Assessment
in Math.
~ A score of 725 or higher for the 7th grade NJSLA Summative Assessment in ELA.
~ Academic grades of B (83) or higher in all academic courses as demonstrated on
the final report card from 7th grade.
~ Two (2) letters of recommendation from academic teachers, counselors or
administrators. Letters can be sent to OCHS by email or by mail. Please see the

You must also submit the Notice of Intent Form to Mr. Ryan Gaskill at the Board Office if your child will be applying for School Choice.
